Adjustable clutch style tap holder has the clutch built into the tap holder. Tap holder “clicks” when the tap bottoms, hits interference, or begins to dull. At bottoming or in case of an obstruction, the operator simply reverses the motor and backs the tap out of the hole. In the case of a dull tap, the operator simply changes to a new tap.
